In 2016 Open Accelerator was born as a pilot within Italian entrepreneurial ecosystem. The received applications have outlined rich landscape of exciting innovation within the life science area and have validated the potentiality of the OA project. Out of 20 applications 4 startups made it to the finals and the OA has awarded MyDoctor24 startup – an app for parents allowing to access pediatric consultations- with a €100 000 seed investment prize. https://mydoctor24.com/
