Indicon Società Benefit is the first consulting firm dedicated to supporting innovation management in the life sciences sector. They identify and nurture the most promising startups and projects in the life sciences, fostering their growth and development.
The company was founded by Paola Lanati, who brings over 20 years of experience in life sciences. Paola is also a business angel in the life sciences sector and has been recognized as one of the top 100 women in venture capital in Europe.
Indicon provides corporate strategic consultancy services, focusing on business and technical due diligence, digital transformation, and open innovation. The firm works extensively with venture capital and investors to ensure thorough evaluation and optimization of investment portfolios. Additionally, Indicon specializes in scouting and evaluating startups, offering comprehensive business and technical due diligence, as well as temporary management to enhance portfolio performance.
In the life sciences sector, Indicon offers strategic consultancy services tailored to startups, including the development of go-to-market strategies and the definition of target product profiles (TPP). The company also provides temporary management and venture clienting services to support the growth and development of life science startups.
Indicon is also involved in publishing. INNLIFES is a new journal published by Indicon, aiming to promote awareness and support innovation in life sciences.
INNLIFES offers a schedule of events to delve into strategic innovation topics in life sciences and share experiences, with contributions from high-level panels.
Upon client request, INNLIFES provides the organization of customized events or the possibility to participate in multi-sponsor events on innovation-related topics. Indicon, as both a publisher and a consultancy firm, is deeply committed to ESG principles. Indicon is a Società Benefit, aiming to act responsibly and consciously. The company promotes awareness and understanding of ESG issues through employee training. Indicon is certified UNI EN ISO 20121:2012, the standard that defines the Event Sustainability Management System. The company monitors CO2 emissions through Carbon Footprint calculations to offset the CO2 produced by its activities. Additionally, Indicon has obtained Gender Equality Certification according to the UNI/PdR 125:2022 directive.
NEC - Nutrimentum et Curae is an international peer-reviewed medical journal created by Indicon to share the results of the latest scientific research on nutrition as a tool for care and psychophysical well-being.
Indicon is involved also in many interesting projects.
ListUP is a multi-year research observatory established in 2023 with the aim to shape the Italian ecosystem of innovative Startups, innovative SMEs and Investors in the Life Science sector to understand trends and provide all stakeholders with a systematic overview.
The Digital Health Policy project is a research initiative launched in 2021 in collaboration with Università degli Studi di Milano, aimed at contributing to the development and introduction of DTx as well as monitoring advancements in Digital Health.
The DtxMonitoring Report is an annual report created by Indicon's"Digital Health Policy Lab" working group, aiming to capture the state of the art of digital therapeutics (DTx), from global research phases to commercialization status, and to understand Italy's positioning in the growing sphere of digital health and DTxin particular.
